Port Jervis Police Seize 110 Bags Of Heroin In Drug Bust

PORT JERVIS, N.Y. – A surveillance operation from the Port Jervis Police Department on Wednesday led to the seizure of over 100 bags of heroin and drug charges for two Matamoras, Pa. residents, authorities said.

Port Jervis officers arrested Victoria Wright, 35, and Paul Rossi, 30 in the area of 100 Pike St. Wright was found with 110 bags of heroin in her possession and charged with Criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, Port Jervis Police said. 

Rossi was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, loitering and appearing in public under the influence of a narcotic drug.

Both Rossi is being held on $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond. Wright is being held on $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond. Both are in the custody of the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
